Jonathan S. Moore has been an attorney at Wagstaff LLP since graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2015.  Mr. Moore is licensed to practice law in both California and Texas.  His areas of practice focus primarily on the representation of electric utility companies, data center developers, and related businesses.  Such representation includes the acquisition of the necessary easements, rights-of-way, and fee interests for electric distribution and transmission systems and associated facilities.  During the acquisition process Mr. Moore has represented his clients in several eminent domain proceedings.  In connection with his representation of such electric utility companies, Mr. Moore has assisted in the sale and transfer of electric transmission infrastructure and associated appurtenant real estate.

In addition to representing utility clients, Mr. Moore also represents landowners being crossed by pipelines throughout West Texas and has successfully negotiated settlements on behalf of many of such clients.  Mr. Moore’s practice also includes assisting renewable energy and data center developers and landowners with various aspects of renewable energy development; including the acquisition of renewable energy and data center assets.

Mr. Moore enjoys working with entrepreneurs and local businesses; helping get their businesses started by registering trademarks, enforcing copyrights, filing corporate documents, and drafting and reviewing employment contracts.

Mr. Moore was born and raised here in Abilene, Texas and is a 2012 graduate of Baylor University where he received a BFA in Theatre and Film and Digital Media. He enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to the Abilene community.
