
Samantha Ward
Sam Ward joined Wagstaff LLP in 2024 after graduating from Texas Tech University School of Law. Ms. Ward’s primary areas of practice include the acquisition of easements by negotiation or condemnation for public utilities, estate planning and probate proceedings, and family law, including divorce and child custody proceedings.
Ms. Ward grew up in Waco, Texas and is a Marine Corps veteran. She was trained at the Naval Justice School as a Legal Services Specialist and served four years at Camp Pendleton, California. Following the conclusion of her military service, Ms. Ward moved back to Texas, where she worked as a contract administrator for a home services franchise company while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in communications. During law school, Ms. Ward concentrated on business law and was committed to pro bono work. Ms. Ward was in the Family Law Clinic, where she represented indigent clients, and was on the Pro Bono Board of Directors.
On her days off, Ms. Ward enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Dakota and Zoey.
