
David W. Thomas
David W. Thomas joined Wagstaff LLP in 2019 after graduating from Baylor University School of Law. Mr. Thomas’ practice consists primarily of representing individuals and businesses in a variety of criminal and civil litigation matters, including criminal defense and contract disputes. Such representation regularly includes investigating facts, drafting pleadings and motions, producing and analyzing discovery, settlement negotiations, and courtroom appearances.
Mr. Thomas also assists in the representation of electric utility companies and related renewable energy businesses. Mr. Thomas has assisted with easement and right-of-way negotiations, document preparation, real property acquisition, and condemnation proceedings. He also represents clients in probate matters.
Mr. Thomas, a graduate of Oklahoma State University, his wife Alyssa and son Warren are enjoying familiarizing themselves with, and getting involved in, the Abilene community. They spend their free time exploring downtown Abilene businesses and restaurants and have recently joined Beltway Park Church.
