Jeremy L. Shipp maintains a balanced practice in both litigation and transactional representations.  As an advocate for individuals, families, and businesses, Mr. Shipp represents clients in family law and child welfare matters, criminal matters, and civil litigation.   In addition to representing clients in the courtroom, Mr. Shipp also represents individuals and businesses in real estate, business formation, and estate planning matters.

Mr. Shipp’s advocacy skills have been recognized by the Abilene community as he was designated as one of Abilene’s “2016 Top 20 Under 40”, a program honoring the area’s brightest leaders of tomorrow as determined by the Abilene Reporter News, USA Today Network.  Additionally, Mr. Shipp has created and instructed criminal evidence and procedure courses as an adjunct professor at Abilene Christian University and presented continuing legal education seminars for evidence predicates in family law.

Mr. Shipp has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters – Lone Star (2012-18); Rotary International – Abilene Southwest (President, 2016-17); and Abilene Young Lawyers Association (President, 2016).  After graduating from Abilene Christian University, Jeremy received his law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law, and has lived in Abilene since 2011.
